Woodcutting is a skill that allows player to cut down certain trees depending on their level. You do not need an axe to train Woodcutting, though it is recommended as you will be able to obtain the logs faster.

Normal trees include evergreen trees, as they give the same amount of experience. These trees are the most common in MineScape, they can be found pretty much everywhere. |
| Oak | 15 | 12 |  | These trees aren't as widespread as a normal tree. They are most common in and around Lumbridge, Draynor, Rimmington and Barbarian Village. |
| Willow | 30 | 68 |  | Willow trees are found nearby to bodies of water and can be easily recognised by their low hanging branches. You can find them around Port Sarim, Draynor, Rimmington, Lumbridge and Varrock. |
| Maple | 45 | 100 |  | At this time, Maple trees can only be found on the Karamja island. Their size ranges from large to small and can be easily spotted by the bananas hanging from them. |
| Yew | 60 | 175 |  | A single Yew tree can be found in the Lumbridge Graveyard and multiple trees scattered around the ruins in Edgeville. |
| Magic | 75 | 250 | A number of Magic trees can be found north-east of Varrock on just north of the wilderness ditch. |
